Lee Brennan PE

Senior Civil Engineer

Lee has over 20 years’ experience working on projects involving design and construction of public and private roadways, infrastructure, and site development. As a senior civil engineer, Lee has been involved with planning, permitting, design, and construction of projects which involve new and rehabilitation/improvement projects for arterial, collector, and local streets; bike and pedestrian trails and accessways; sanitary sewer collection and conveyance system, lift stations, and on-site and municipal treatment systems; domestic water production, treatment, distribution, and storage systems; stormwater collection, conveyance, detention/retention, pollutant reduction/water quality enhancement; erosion control and bank stabilization; geotechnical assessment and remediation; retaining walls; floodway/floodplain modeling and improvements; waterway, wetlands, and riparian area assessment, delineation, fill/removal permitting, and mitigation/enhancement; parks and recreation facilities; environmental media assessment and remediation; and municipal, commercial, and industrial buildings.

 

Lee’s work has included construction administration; value engineering; field engineering to address unknown or changed conditions, and conditions in need of remedial action to facilitate the required development; and construction review, inspection, and testing. As a consultant and former City Public Works Director/City Engineer, Lee has coordinated the efforts and served as lead for the master planning of transportation, stormwater, domestic water, sanitary sewer, and parks facilities. Lee has also worked with developers and regulatory authorities to develop practical and cost-applicable system development charges, local improvement districts, and special assessment districts for funding/developer reimbursement for infrastructure improvements needed to facilitate development, that are more cost effectively developed by private entities.
